Ask The Expert is a series of events for the DEI Hub community members. In a given week, they can ask their questions about a specific DEI topic to a renowned DEI expert who answers their questions every day.

Alan De Bruyne. Alan has been at the forefront of DEIB for over 20 years, serving local and global businesses, NGOs, and governments. He takes satisfaction in conceptualising and engineering solutions tailored to your actual needs, leading to concrete, adapted actions. He also organised Belgian Pride for eight years, successfully bringing together the diversity within the LGBTQI+ community. In 2023, he created the iN-Clue conversation cards, which transform team attitudes towards valuing their own diversity and becoming advocates for inclusion within their own team in a sustainable way.
Alan will be answering questions about:
- effective strategies for organising inclusive Pride Month events
- fostering a sense of belonging among LGBTQ+ employees throughout the year
- challenges organisations face when promoting LGBTQ+ inclusion
- engaging and educating allies to support LGBTQ+ inclusion
